Mission Statement

The mission of the Coastal Center for Mind-Body Therapies, Inc. is to provide for patients in our community safe, sound, non-invasive complementary and alternative therapies by competent licensed and/or certified healthcare professionals as an adjunct to the medical care provided by the patient's physician, as well as to be a resource for physicians, and the community in general, for services, education and information about mind-body therapies and life enhancing specialties.

COASTAL CENTER FOR MIND-BODY THERAPIES

The Coastal Center for Mind-Body Therapies, as a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization, is dedicated to creating a healing environment for patients and providing a variety of complementary mind-body therapies that embrace the principles of science and tradition. At the Center, the patient is treated as a whole person and respected as an individual.

Emphasis is placed on personal empowerment and responsibility to create and attain optimal health and quality of life. We honor each person's healing process and tailor a care plan to fit the individual's needs. To insure the highest standards of practice, the Coastal Center for Mind-Body Therapies employs highly trained practitioners who are licensed, certified and credentialed according to South Carolina State Law and the criteria of the Board of Directors.

The Center also plays an integral role as a resource and educational tool for physicians and the community in general about mind-body therapies for the treatment of medically diagnosed conditions.
